open eir partners with Agri Careers 2017
As an official partner to the Irish Farmers Journal Agri-Careers 2017 on March 30th in the RDS, open eir will showcase the exciting career opportunities offered by Ireland’s agricultural sector, the fantastic opportunities offered by open eir’s apprenticeship programme, and demonstrate how open eir’s fibre rollout programme has the potential to transform rural Ireland.
The Connected Ireland forum chaired by Orlagh Nevin (open eir) and consisting of Tara McCarthy (CEO, Board Bia), Philip King (musician and presenter of South Wind Blows) and Vanessa Tierney (Chairman, Abodoo) will discuss the impact of introducing high-speed broadband to rural Ireland. The forum will be discussing how farming communities, rural economies, education systems, hospitals and homes alike, can benefit from the rollout.
Attendees will also learn about how to enter the open eir apprentice programme from one of last year’s attendees who is now part of our team rolling out high speed broadband across Ireland. We’ll also have a team on hand to show the scope and scale of the rollout of fibre broadband across Ireland.
Additionally, there will be an opportunity to enter a draw for two tickets to the 2017 All Ireland football final, so please drop in to see us at the open eir stand!
