Carlow rugby hosts eir regional event with support from some rugby heroes…
Pictured at open eir’s family fun day in Carlow highlighting eir’s €400million investment in bringing high-speed broadband to 1.6 million homes and premises across the country.
At the briefing the Managing Director of open eir, Carolan Lennon, outlined the benefits of the investment to over 12,000 homes and businesses in Carlow which can now access uncongested high-speed broadband with speeds of up to 100mb/s. Over 19,000 premises in 10 communities in County Carlow will benefit from €5million investment programme.
Carlow Rugby Club welcomed former Ireland rugby internationals Fional Coghlan, John Hayes and Reggie Corrigan. The club also hosted a mini blitz with teams from Carlow, Arklow and Wexford participating.
The Minister of State for Rural Affairs and Rural Transport attended and presented.
After hot chocolates and festive ginger bread men, Adults and Children convened in the club house for a Q&A Session with our three sporting ambassadors.
KCLR pitched up for the mornings event with veteran broadcaster John Masterson, interviewing both Padraig MCManus Chairman of open eir and Carolan Lennon MD of open eir.
